Plenty of space is provided and its tremendous versatility opens up almost unbounded possibilities.

Functionality can be this fascinating – the California Beach makes maximum use of space and not a fraction of an inch is left unused. A stowage box in the passenger compartment can take plenty of provisions or tools. Other luggage can be stowed in the roof luggage net* or in a drawer under the 2-seater bench seat. In addition, everything else you need for your hobbies can be packed in two very roomy stowage bags.* You therefore have everything with you when you want to take a break from your everyday routine.

The California Beach can carry even large items of sports equipment with ease: the rail system in the passenger compartment allows almost infinitely variable adjustment of the stowage box and bench seat so that you can create space for bulky items. The cab too is keyed to your requirements: the clearly arranged instruments are within easy reach and the comfortable swivelling front seats assure fatigue-free driving on long journeys. The raised sitting position gives you an excellent view of traffic on the road – and you catch sight of your goal a little sooner than others.

When the day comes to a close, it is not the end of your pleasure trip. The California Beach has everything to let you enjoy a good night’s rest. The 2-seater bench seat can be folded down and, together with the upholstered stowage box and bed extension for the luggage compartment, can be made up into a large, comfortable sleeping surface where you can dream of new adventures to come. The “Good Night package” makes sure that you have an undisturbed night. If you do not want to have complete darkness, there are two flexible lamps* in the headlining – for bedtime reading, for example.

The California Beach is naturally also equipped for the next day: you can put up a practical folding table and have breakfast in the passenger compartment. The table is stowed in the sliding door during the journey to save space. It can also be used outside the vehicle together with the two standard folding chairs so that you can greet the new day outside. You therefore experience top-level versatility with the California Beach and have to concentrate on one thing only: your own particular wishes.
