It is not without reason that this vehicle is called the Multivan PanAmericana: after all, it has been developed to cope with the toughest routes in the
world – and the legendary Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego definitely belongs to this category. The Multivan PanAmericana proves itself on demanding stretches and in extreme off-road conditions. As it also has seating for up to six – and up to sevenwith the 3-seater bench seat available as an option – your exciting journeys can be shared with your friends.

The first Multivan PanAmericana vehicles have already proved their off-road capabilities as escort vehicles on various rallies all over the world. They have made their way without difficulty through heat and sand dunes several hundred metres high to support the Volkswagen Racing Team.

With the Multivan PanAmericana you can be sure of admiring glances. The exclusive special paint finish in “Salt Lake Grey Metallic”, darkened tail lights and “Cricket” leather trim make it an unmistakable vehicle. The ride height is increased by 20 mm, and the aluminium look front spoiler and sills plus robust plastic bumpers give an idea of the capabilities of the Multivan PanAmericana.

However, it makes its most spectacular appearance where there are no passers-by – the Multivan PanAmericana copes effortlessly with inclines. The Off-road package* which can be ordered as an option makes the Multivan PanAmericana even more suitable for driving in difficult terrain. This package increases ground clearance by a further 30 mm and also includes an underride guard for the engine, 16" “MIYATO” wheels with A/T off-road tyres, and gear ratio reduction. This means that more power is transmitted to both driven axles. All-wheel driving has a very special fascination in the Multivan PanAmericana.
