The TDI engines – even more economical and highperforming.
2.0 litre 85 kW petrol engineThe 4-cylinder petrol engine in the Transporter has an output of 85 kW and generates a maximum torque of 170 Nm. It is available with a 5-speed gearbox and is a good alternative to the diesel engines. 2.0 litre 62 kW TDI engineThe entry-level diesel engines draw strength from a cubic capacity of 2 litres. Thanks to the TDI technology, this engine delivers a maximum torque of 220 Nm. As is the case with all other TDI engines, the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption have been optimised compared to previous engine types – with a significant increase in performance. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. 2.0 litre 75 kW TDI engineThe second TDI engine from a total of four develops even more power with the same cubic capacity. The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been considerably reduced here too, while the power output has increased just as significantly. For this engine, the power is transmitted using a 5-speed manual gearbox. 2.0 litre 103 kW TDI engineThanks to the remarkable output of 103 kW, even long drives on the motorway are a pleasure. As is the case with the other TDI engines, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption have been significantly reduced for the sake of the environment and the ubiquitous cost pressure. A 6- speed manual gearbox and an innovative 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) are available with this engine. 2.0 litre 132 kW BiTDI engineThe sophisticated Transporter motorisation has come up with an innovative technology: BiTDI has two turbochargers for an extremely high power output and pure driving pleasure with a maximum torque of 400 Nm. This contradicts the belief that commercial vehicles and a sporty driving style are mutually exclusive. You have a choice of a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG). For the first time, DSG in combination with 4MOTION is also available for this engine. |
